Our brewery was founded in 1996 and named after the founder’s childhood idol and grandfather, Nils Oscar. He was an innovative, brave, energetic and hard-working man who still inspires and influences the brand.

Today we are a craft brewery with modern and quality equipment and are housed in Nyköping’s old waterworks Fruängskällan, in central Nyköping. Our flagship is God Lager, which we have had the pleasure of working with and developing for over 20 years.

Here at Nils Oscar we brew classic beer in a modern style. We make tasty, simple beer inspired by classic beer styles. Our main strength is beer with a clear malt character that is influenced by the modern beer world.
